How to participate in the mural contest:
Stop by the taproom during open hours between April 1st and 15th to pick up an entry sheet, and get up-close and personal with "Home."
List the panel number where each image is located. Don't forget to include your name and contact info!

Fine artist and figure painter, Janis Rockwell is a member of the Naughty Oak family who occasionally comes out of retirement to act as the brewery’s “artist on retainer.” Her realistic but whimsical style lightheartedly conveys beauty and contentedness. Be sure to look closely at the details among the squirrel’s home to find hidden gems that represent our home on the Central Coast.
Home is Janis' fifth (and she claims, last) mural. Two of the others are also located at Naughty Oak. To see another of Janis’ murals that showcases the incredible region we call home, visit the City of Santa Maria’s Mobile Nature Center & Observatory, often located at Los Flores Ranch Park.
